There are many images of Cerridwen on the web, but this one stands out to me as most realistic, if that even makes sense in relation to a human image of deity. Many others are too flighty and fairy-like, or two dimensional. Cerridwen is a triple-goddess, embodying the three stages of womanhood in Celtic mythology: maiden, mother, and crone. Her crone aspect seems to be most often venerated, while her maiden aspect is most often depicted. This is valid, but to me, there has to be some hint of the other aspects that make up the whole.

Thank you. The image is very life like. Are you familiar with the Greek goddess Hecate, a goddess
who also had three aspects. It was Purity, a member from sm, chosen goddess.

it is very disconcerting how a possible mutually shared consciousness can "turn out" to become totally divisive. how discrepancies that mark us humans as individuals have been "used" to atomize any societal structures by refusing that which belongs together be together. by forcing "communities" to be subject to powers contrary to their individuals' needs.

what superstition could overrule the original love and wisdom?

to be fair: the gender issues negociated today in public and private relationships cannot possibly re-educate or reshape the sensitivities in personal trauma that occurred over thousands of years.

Hi lavender orchid, I did not realize you were posting here. I will
ask Mayflow how to turn on my notices or beeps again. This way I
can be notified of a new posting. Here in the "gods and goddesses
section I tried to get at least one representation of each individual
god/goddess. In the art museum I explored different art styles
representing the gods & goddesses. I still have to find a
representation of Gaia for this section.

Oh thank you lavender orchid. I still must update my phone. I have a blackberry. Apparently there
are upgrades for my phone but I must do these updates via a lap top computer. To get both the
