| Obviously there are many tribes, nations, and peoples under this definition. They speak different languages and have many varied cultures. Not all of them would be subscribing at all to this zodiac. Nonetheless, it is labeled under the Native American zodiac, a synthesis of understanding. I am a woodpecker, by the way. None of my signs are scary or frightful, just nice and peaceful. I would find it interesting, if members looked at this. Do the definitions fit along with your personality. Also it can be cross referenced with the western, chinese, celtic and other zodiac definitions & characteristics. In addition there is a difference between one's totem and one's zodiac sign. I for instance resonate more with the owl, my totem, than my native zodiac woodpecker.

| Well, lavender orchid. It would be projection's of myself, that I see in you. It wouldn't do true justice to your lavender orchid self, nonetheless. | |

| I would be interested in your sign. Otter : quirky, unorthodox, unconventional. I see this in yourself. Is it true. Or... Deer : muse, inspiring, lively, quick witted. I obviously see this as well. Which is it? | |

| no projections. but truly inspiring. like lightning flashes (i'd call them god's silent strobe lights) on a tropical night sky
much of it falls on a mind prepared to understand symbols and into a heart resonating with divine purposes |

| That was very pretty. You have a gift. Cherish it, as others cherish your lovely writing. A gift can not be denied. It must be accessed and free to fly. To deny one's gift, one is In danger of losing their soul. | |

| I finally saw this today. My sign is Bear, but on the edge of Salmon, and I would correspondingly say I combine aspects of both. | |

| I have sent you some information to help you on your quest. I would be interested in your totem/spirit animal. There is a difference with the zodiac & spirit animal. My zodiac. Is woodpecker ;(nurturing, listener, empathic, & understanding). But my ideal/archtype/totem is owl ;wisdom & knowledge which I seek to heal self & then others. I must mix in love, compassion, hopefully with understanding. | |
